Trevor Noah thinks there’s something suspicious about Tucker Carlson’s vacation plans.

The comedian pointed out on Comedy Central’s “The Daily Show with Trevor Noah” how Fox News hosts seem to take vacation time when they find themselves in the middle of controversy.

The most recent example, according to Noah, is that of Carlson, who came under fire for calling white supremacy in America “a hoax” and “conspiracy theory used to divide the country and keep a hold on power.”

During a recent episode of his show “Tucker Carlson Tonight,” Carlson announced he would be taking time off.

“By the way, I am taking several days off headed to the wilderness to fish with my son, catch some brook trout,” he said. “Politics is important, fishing with your son sometimes more important, so I’m doing it.”

Noah said Carlson’s plans sound, well, fishy.

“Who knows, maybe lots of people leave for fishing vacations on Wednesday nights at 9 p.m.,” he said. “I mean, you never know when the fish are gonna start biting. You never know.”

Noah said Carlson’s surprise vacation is not the first move from a Fox News host facing backlash.

According to Noah, Bill O’Reilly’s Fox News vacation “is the greatest of all time.”

After a series of settlements O’Reilly made with female employees over sexual misconduct came to light in 2017, the 69-year-old announced he would take a vacation. While he was gone, his show was pulled.

“And he never returned,” Noah said. “Doesn’t sound like a guy going on vacation, it sounds like a guy who got whacked by the mob.”

Noah capped off his segment with a faux add for a travel agency dedicated for Fox News hosts facing backlash.

“Are you tired of the hustle and bustle of being dropped by advertisers?” said the voice over in the fake ad. “Want to get away because your bosses say you have to? Then you need Fox Vacations, the travel agency for Fox News hosts in trouble.”
